We offer reading instruction to students identified as dyslexic, at-risk for dyslexia, and those struggling readers who need intervention. Services are virtual with instructional materials designed to fit your student’s specific needs. Informal screenings are available to gather information to determine if at-risk for dyslexia. We believe parents are partners in all student learning, which allows for the best learning outcome for your student. All therapy sessions are in a learning setting that is free from distractions which are often found in the public school setting. All students will be instructed with high quality instructional materials. Your experienced therapist is trained in the Scottish Rite created Take Flight, Jet, MTA, Alphabet Phonics, and numerous other reading programs.
Dyslexia Therapy Network is owned and operated by Bridget Huckabee. Bridget is a Licensed Dyslexia Therapist, Certified Academic Language Therapist, and a certified teacher. She has helped students achieve reading success since 2004. She has worked in the public-school setting as a classroom teacher, as a reading interventionist, and a Dyslexia Therapist. She also has many years of experience working one-on-one with students in a tutoring type of situation out of the school setting. Her students have had great success and made progress in their academic and professional careers.
She is passionate about working with students through creating relationships that foster their specific learning needs. Her love of reading, and helping her students become the best they can be, allows great success for all her students.
